Over 300 Journalists Converge On Lisbon To Kick-Start IFA 2017

As leading global technology brands fine-tune arrangements to showcase their latest products at the IFA Consumer Electronics Unlimited this September, over 300 journalists from 50 countries along with several of the exhibitors have gathered in Lisbon, Portugal, to give a foretaste of what the public will see when IFA 2017 opens in Berlin, Germany on September 1.

The preview is a detailed set of communication activities structured under the well thought-out IFA Global Press Conference, a platform that affords the journalists opportunity to interact with the global brands, technology industry analysts, exhibitors and the event organisers on the products to be exhibited at the IFA in Berlin, thereby kicking starting activities for the IFA globally, five months before the event holds.

Leading global brands to present their product previews and market insights at the IFA GPC in Lisbon include Philips, Sennheiser, Samsung, Porsche Design Group and GfK.

The IFA GPC, a programme specially put together by organisers of IFA is the platform for discussing trending topics on the products at the cutting edge of technology to look out for as well as market and consumer trends, areas that are well influenced by the IFA consumer event.

The IFA GPC 2017 is holding April 20 – 23 at the Marriot Hotel, Lisbon.

The IFA, hosted in Berlin, presents the latest products and innovations in the heart of Europe‘s most significant regional market. In 2016, more than 300 exhibitors showcased their products’ highlights and services at the event in Berlin. The 2016 event recorded more than 240,000 visitors with more than 5,700 journalists from over 50 countries reporting extensively on event.
