What phone do you use sir?
Answer: I use a Blackberry Bold
Why do you prefer Blackberry Bold?
I do more of email than talking on the phone. This is because I am always in a meeting or lecturing. Any talk outside what is urgent I try to avoid it. I send lots of email with the phone.
What other feature do you use more on the phone for your work beside the email?
I must confess, telephone is not one of my passions, though I know the worth of mobile telephony, I am not an enthusiast of long voice calls. I do more of emails and tons of text messaging. The Blackberry bold allows me send short straight forward emails. When I need to send long emails I do that using the laptop. The phone is a quick and smart work tool.
What phone were you using before the Blackberry Bold?
It was one of those Nokia E-series, E87 I think, I am not sure because when buying a telephone I tell them this is what feature I expect from my phone and they recommend a suitable handset for me. But since I was introduced to Blackberry, I noticed it is more advanced than the other phones I have used.
Are you thinking of changing the phone anytime soon?
It is not me who changes my phones rather those around me. When they notice that I have become inefficient so to speak, they recommend the kind of phone that would enable me do business better. Then I asked them how such handset can enhance my work and they purchase it for me.
If you were to lose this phone now what would you miss most about the handset?
I won’t really miss anything because all my data are backed up just in case of the unexpected. It will only make me ask my subordinates what next to migrate to.
